I was annoyed that that concurrent user sessions were yanked from the SP2 feature list but, thanks to this thread and also this document, I’m enjoying the benefits of concurrent console and terminal sessions.
A summary of the steps taken (full details are found by following the links above):
· Add or alter the DWORD "EnableConcurrentSession" value to "1" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Licensing Core
· Replace instances of termsrv.dll with the build 2055 version (file compressed with 7-Zip) in safe mode.

I’ve just been running cable at Kohukohu School and just wanted to pass along the heads-up that Mike at CablesDirect certainly made the whole process easy. Almost a one-stop-shop.

A little bit of old news to get through but there may be something of use to someone amongst it.
Below are a couple of screenshots from within Sandra of the performance produced by the AMD 2600+ Mobile (cheaper than the Kiwi dealers, and almost as fast from Overclockers.co.uk)running at 15×166MHz FSB on the MSI KT6 Delta-FISR (excellent price to features ratio on this MoBo). Annoyingly I’m not running at 200MHz FSB as the KT6 doesn’t allow you to change mobile multipliers, and without a PCI lock I don’t want to stray outside the standard frequencies. Luckily it took to the 166MHz FSB and has been running like a top at 1.675vcore (upped beyond prime stable for peace of mind). A 500MHz overclock with no real effort and a Thermaltake Silent Boost certainly made me appreciate these chips.

The comparison CPUs show the progression of speed through my main rigs.

Had a wee paddle across to the south side the other day, the Mangungu Mission being the half-way point.
